Beverly is a High Performance Six Sigma Master Black Belt at Charleston
Area Medical Center. She is among the first class of Healthcare Master
Black Belts (MBB) in the Country. She has over twenty-seven years of experience
in clinical and operational healthcare, managed care, experience in process
design and performance improvement, organizational development and change
management. The various management positions held included Vice President,
Director, Nurse Manager, Educator and Supervisor.
She is a visionary executive who has demonstrated success in management,
strategic planning, program development, process implementation and performance
improvement. She is a change agent who formulates business strategies
that solve problems and improve productivity. She is an experienced facilitator
who has lead an entire company wide quality improvement process.
She was instrumental in leading 3 different acute care organizations and
a new Managed Care Company to successful JCAHO and NCQA Accreditation.
She is a goal oriented leader and team builder who has designed, implemented,
managed and grew programs through effective staff management. Her portfolio
of projects demonstrate proficiency in statistical analysis and graphical
capabilities of Minitab.
Her academic credentials are in healthcare and business with an International
Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA) degree from the Katz
Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelors of
Science Degree in Nursing. She has completed the Master Black Belt Training
this year at GE's Healthcare Systems Crotonville, NY campus. She
has completed the AAHP Fellowship Program in Managed Care and is a Certified
Managed Care Executive (CMCE). She is an alumni of the West Virginia Leadership
Program.
Beverly is a professional speaker, educator, author, and external consultant.
She has completed training to be a CAP/WorkOut Facilitator by GE and Certified
as an Educator for Facilitators and team leaders by Qualtec, a subsidiary
of Florida Power & Light.
