MR Applications
EchoPlus diffusion weighted imaging provides isotropic diffusion-weighted EPI images along with T2 EPI and FLAIR EPI images. The pulse sequences uses a single-shot, motion-resistant technique capable of imaging the entire brain in less than 30 seconds with B-values up to 1000 sec/mm2. Image post-processing is automated. EchoPlus requires EPI, and FuncTool 2000 is recommended in conjunction with EchoPlus for ADC and eADC mapping. (requires EPI)

CT Applications
wpeF4.jpg (2844 bytes)Perfusion expands the dominant role of CT in evaluation of patients with acute stroke. Despite the capability of MR, CT remains the "gold standard" for evaluating the presence of hemorrhage. Consequently, CT Perfusion is the logical next step to quantifying the patient's condition. The CT Perfusion software provides relative cerebral blood volume, relative cerebral blood flow, mean transit time and time to peak quantitative information.
