CT Applications
3D Imaging Analysis is a post processing technique that creates 3D models using surface rendering and maximum intensity pixel projection modes. 3D in used on orthopedic and maxillo-facial exams to enhance the diagnostic utility. 3D is also a must on CT angiography to remove obstructing structures.

AW Applications
AW 4.0 Navigator generates 3D surfaced rendered images of hollow structures, based on helical CT data sets and allows the user to navigate or "fly through" them. It may also be used in a virtual microscopy mode to fly around the outside of structures, for example, the Circle of Willis. (requires requires Volume Analysis)
