MR Applications
EchoPlus diffusion weighted imaging provides isotropic diffusion-weighted EPI images along with T2 EPI and FLAIR EPI images. The pulse sequences uses a single-shot, motion-resistant technique capable of imaging the entire brain in less than 30 seconds with B-values up to 1000 sec/mm2. Image post-processing is automated. EchoPlus requires EPI, and FuncTool 2000 is recommended in conjunction with EchoPlus for ADC and eADC mapping. (requires EPI)

wpe43.jpg (5923 bytes)The Probe2000 Upgrade adds multi-voxel spectroscopy for customers who already have single voxel Probe. Multi-voxel Probe enables analysis of a larger volumes of interest while maintaining the ability to breakdown the analysis to smaller areas of interest. The results can be displayed as a spectra or a color metabolite map.

CT Applications
wpeF4.jpg (2844 bytes)Perfusion expands the dominant role of CT in evaluation of patients with acute stroke. Despite the capability of MR, CT remains the "gold standard" for evaluating the presence of hemorrhage. Consequently, CT Perfusion is the logical next step to quantifying the patient's condition. The CT Perfusion software provides relative cerebral blood volume, relative cerebral blood flow, mean transit time and time to peak quantitative information.

AW Applications
AW 4.0 Volume Rendering enhances three dimensional visualization of imaged tissue by providing translucent rendering. In addition to the standard 3D image analysis tools, Volume Rendering allows the user to interactively define thresholds for opacity, color application, and brightness. (requires requires Volume Analysis)
