Cedars Blood Pool Gated SPECT

Blood Pool Gated SPECT (BPGS) is an interactive standalone application for the automatic segmentation and quantification of gated short axis blood pool (Red Blood Cells - RBC) SPECT.

Benefits
  • Provides a non-invasive reimbursable method to quantitatively assess global and regional hemodynamic parameters of ventricular function using volumetric information.
Features
  • Automatic generation of left and right ventricular endocardial surfaces and valve planes from three-dimensional (3D) gated short axis blood pool images
  • Automatic calculation of left and right ventricular volumes and ejection fraction.
  • Two-dimensional (2D) image display using standard American College of Cardiology (ACC) cardiac SPECT conventions.
  • 3D image display including the ability to combine isosurfaces extracted from the data with the calculated endocardial surfaces in various ways. Endocardial boarders can be displayed as wireframes, shaded surfaces or both
  • Supports manual identification of left ventricular (LV) region in cases where the automatic algorithm fails to separate it from the right ventricular (RV) region or returns unsatisfactory results
  • Ability to rotate, zoom and cine 3D surfaces
  • Calculation and display of polar maps representing wall motion.
Prerequisites
  • eNTEGRA System or eNTEGRA View with R2.0 Software
